New Galaxy Z Fold Series Member Confirmed by Samsung
Samsung has officially teased the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, indicating a big upgrade to its foldable range. The smartphone will appear in early July at a New York launch event with the Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and the cheaper Z Flip 7 FE, a Samsung first.
Premium Build and Slimmer Design
The preview shows the Fold 7 Ultra’s tiny profile. Samsung hasn’t given specific measurements, but the gadget is believed to be slimmer than the Z Fold 6 (5.6mm unfurled) and Z Fold Special Edition (4.9mm). If true, the Fold 7 Ultra would be Samsung’s slimmest foldable.
Camera Upgrades Promised
Samsung calls the Fold 7 Ultra’s camera “best-in-class.” This puts it in into competition with the Vivo X Fold3 Pro, which boasts a fantastic camera. Full specs are unknown, although flagship-grade imaging is expected.
It should employ Samsung’s greatest camera system, the Galaxy S25. Given the Fold’s increased pricing, Samsung may be working on something larger.
Not a New Samsung Model
It took awhile to design the Fold7 Ultra. The Ultra edition, speculated for the Z Fold6 series, was shelved in favor of the Z Fold Special Edition, or Samsung W25 in China. This variant has an 8-inch main display, 6.5-inch cover screen, 200MP primary camera, and 16GB RAM in a slimmer and lighter design.
The Fold 7 Ultra is anticipated to expand on that base with premium specifications and even more design and performance upgrades.
